Follette Challenge: Eisenhower Middle School

In October 2010, The Follette Challenge selected six out of 123 schools that succeeded in incorporating learning and fun in the library. The Follette Challenge was to acknowledge not only the schools, but its librarians who made it possible for the learning in the library.

Teresa Diaz, librarian at Eisenhower Middle School, placed 2nd in the Follette Challenge, winning $20,000 in Follette Prizes.

Ms. Diaz explains the concept of the "libratory" and how the idea enhances students' learning.
